Job Description- Own, lead and continually improve NTENT’s mobile products and agile engineering processes
- Design and architect mobile applications and services
- Select appropriate mobile development tools and technologies to deliver the best mobile experience to customers – everything from Android versions to third party SDK functionality
- Lead, energize, influence, mentor and provide technical guidance to the mobile developers within a team
- Attract and recruit top mobile developers, with support from HR and Talent Acquisition teams, to continue to grow the mobile engineering team
- Work closely with backend Engineering, Product, QA, UI/Design and operations teams
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
- Proven expertise in breaking down problems and providing accurate time estimates for development tasks
- Keep informed and share current trends and future technologies in the mobile space
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile web browsers
- Chromium for mobile experience
- Experience with different software distribution methods on Android phones
- In depth knowledge on the Android OS and file system
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience leading software engineering teams
- 3 years of mobile software development experience on Android and associated languages and technologies (Java, Android SDK, Objective-C, Swift, Xcode)
- 3 years of hands on experience with agile (Scrum, Kanban or XP) and continuous delivery software practices
- Proven experience delivering full end-to-end commercial mobile applications from design and architecture through to successful deployment to app stores
