Mortgage Account Executive – Remote, anywhere in the US

About the Role

Knock is looking for an Account Executive to join our outbound sales team. You'll prospect new retail lending partners and drive adoption of the Knock Bridge Loan™ — our first-of-its-kind product that lets homeowners unlock the equity in their current home to buy their next one before selling.

This is a hunting role: you'll build your own pipeline through cold outreach, not inherit one. No existing lender book is required, but lending experience is necessary.

What You'll Do

  • Run outbound cold outreach to turn prospects into active lending partners
  • Host regular meetings and training sessions with loan officers, team leads, branch managers, and agents to review performance and drive adoption
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets for loan application volume within your territory
  • Track and report on outreach activity, partnerships, and application metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams to keep the partner experience seamless
  • Lead initiatives that grow top-of-funnel activity and repeat applications

What You'll Bring

  • Recent lending experience and/or an active NMLS license (required)
  • Recent experience working directly with lenders
  • 2+ years in business development or sales roles
  • Track record of building a cold-outbound pipeline and hitting sales targets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
  • Relationship-building rooted in trust and transparency
  • Coachable, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote, distributed environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Set up and constantly operate a computer
  • Communicate and exchange accurate information with others via telephone or internet video applications

The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
