About GRAI

GRAI is reimagining how music is discovered and shared, created around the social layer of it. We're pre-launch, moving fast, and building the infrastructure for how the next generation of artists connects with their audience.

The role

You'll lead artist relations at GRAI — own the strategy, build the function, and grow the team behind it. This is a leadership seat: you set direction, define how GRAI works with artists, and are accountable for the outcomes. At this stage you'll be hands-on while you build, then scale yourself out as the team grows. You'll work directly with the founding team and partner closely with Product, Marketing and Brand.

What you’ll own
  • The artist relations strategy end-to-end — landscape, priorities, and how it maps to GRAI's growth stage

  • The framework for how GRAI works with artists: onboarding, co-marketing, content integrations, ambassador relationships

  • The onboarding pipeline as a system — from industry networks and platforms to live events and social discovery

  • The most important artist relationships personally; the rest you build a team and playbook to run

  • Hiring, leading, and developing the artist relations team

  • The artist's voice at the leadership table — turning ground-level insight into product and marketing decisions

  • Partnership opportunities beyond the app: campaigns, content, events

What we're looking for
  • A senior operator from the music industry who has built and led artist- or partnership-facing teams (label, streaming platform, music tech, artist management)

  • Real, owned relationships across the US emerging/mid-tier artist ecosystem

  • Fluent in both the creative side of artists and the business side of partnerships

  • Has done 0→1 and managed people — comfortable being in the weeds pre-launch and scaling into pure leadership as the function matures

  • Strategy and execution in the same person

What we offer
  • A leadership seat with a direct line to the founding team — you shape product direction

  • Ground-floor moment at a music tech company with serious backing and a clear thesis

  • Competitive compensation + equity

  • Flexibility in how you work

  • US/remote
