About the Role

Feel Your Soul and Jacob Zander are hiring a Narrative Short-Form Storyteller to turn long-form video (vlogs, brand content) into scroll-stopping short-form stories for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You'll be the editor who finds the story inside raw footage and shapes it into something that performs.

What You'll Do

  • Cut long-form video into multiple short-form variations for A/B testing and performance optimization
  • Edit in Premiere Pro with strong narrative pacing and structure
  • Build light motion graphics in After Effects to enhance storytelling
  • Apply sound design that elevates the emotional pull of each edit
  • Iterate based on what's performing across platforms

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience editing short-form content, ideally in a narrative/storytelling style
  • Strong command of Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics
  • A clear understanding of sound design as a storytelling tool, not just polish
  • Comfortable testing multiple cuts/hooks to find what performs best
  • Based in the US or South America

Compensation & Growth

This role starts as a part-time arrangement (per-video rate) with a path to a full-time retainer position. (~$2,000/month)

Real opportunity for growth as the role and workload scale.
