Position Overview 

The NetSuite Implementation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the deployment of NetSuite ERP for SquareWorks clients. This role ensures that project objectives are met on time, within scope, and aligned with business needs. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders across departments, external consultants, and client teams to drive a smooth transition to NetSuite. 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution 

  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with implementation team members. 
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional client teams, including Finance, Operations, IT, and third-party vendors, to ensure successful implementation. 
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.  
  • Deliver successful projects on time, within scope and budget. 

Stakeholder & Communication Management 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite implementation updates, ensuring transparency and alignment. 
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications. 
  • Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications where needed. 
  • Provide end-user training and support change management efforts to drive adoption. 

Technical & Process Alignment 

  • Collaborate with functional and technical consultants to configure NetSuite to meet client needs. 
  • Ensure data migration, integrations, and system customizations are executed as per project requirements. 
  • Validate and oversee testing efforts, including system, user acceptance, and performance testing. 
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices for system utilization. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Basic understanding of ERP systems, adjacent business systems, and project management principles. 
  • 5+ years of relevant project management or consulting experience is required 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams, clients and external consultants. 
  • Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, and NetSuite configurations is a plus. 
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is desirable but not required. 

Success Criteria 

  • On-time, within-budget completion of NetSuite implementation milestones. 
  • Effective coordination between client teams, internal teams, and third-party consultants. 
  • High adoption rates and minimal operational disruptions post-implementation. 
  • Continuous process improvements and system optimizations post-go-live. 

This role is critical in ensuring clients successfully transition to NetSuite and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and project execution.
