The Network Engineer will design, configure, and troubleshoot networks in a multi-platform environment, ensuring security and performance across LAN/WAN deployments.

Ideal candidates will have well-rounded expert level knowledge of network and security design principles including a comprehensive understanding of networking concepts pertaining to LAN and WAN deployments within Enterprise multi-platform environments.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related technical field of study
- 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
- CCNP or higher Cisco certification
- Palo Alto certification
- F5 LTM experience
- Thorough knowledge of infrastructure technology interdependencies.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Technical expertise in the following areas:
- Cisco routing and switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Routing protocols - BGP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP
- LAN and WAN connectivity designs
- Cisco WLAN Controllers and APs
- Perimeter security design
- Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Firewalls – Palo Alto, Cisco ASA.
- Configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks security policies, including creating rules and profiles, defining network zones, and managing user access control.
- Monitoring network traffic and security events using Palo Alto Networks monitoring tools, including Panorama and Cortex XDR.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of F5 LTM, including iRules.
- Networking protocols such as ARP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SMTP, HTTP(S), VOIP, SSH, NFS, SMB, CIFS, etc.
- Upgrade procedures for Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5 LTM.
- Packet capture tools (tcpdump, Wireshark) and analysis of outputs.
- CLI and GUI based consoles for all supported devices.
- Efficient in preparing and sharing technical documentation using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Desire to learn new skills, take on new tasks as needed, and work as part of a team
