The Role

We’re hiring a Founding Brand Designer to build Noho’s visual and narrative identity as we scale from early product-market fit into a nationally recognized brand.

This is not a narrow marketing-design role. You’ll be responsible for the full brand system — from our wordmark and visual language to our patient education, packaging, and campaigns. You’ll work directly with the founders, our Product Designer / Design Engineer, and our Head of Growth to make Noho the most trusted and intuitive brand in peptides.

This role is deeply creative and hands-on. You should bring strong illustration skills, art direction instincts, and the ability to produce original visual assets across mediums. You’re not assembling components. You’re generating ideas, artwork, and visual narratives from scratch.

You’ll thrive here if you’re equal parts craft-obsessed designer and systems thinker, excited to translate complex clinical concepts into clear, emotionally resonant stories.

What You’ll Own

Brand & Visual System

  • Define and evolve Noho’s core brand system (logo/wordmark, typography, color, motion, illustration, iconography).

  • Develop a cohesive design language that can flex across clinical, wellness, and performance contexts without losing trust or clarity.

  • Create and maintain scalable brand guidelines that work across product, marketing, and operations.

  • Develop campaign concepts and visual territories that guide how Noho shows up across marketing, clinical, and product contexts.

Marketing & Storytelling
  • Concept and create original visual assets, including custom illustration, art direction for photography, campaign concepts, and digital storytelling pieces

  • Create high-converting, brand-consistent assets: landing pages, lifecycle emails, paid ads, social content, and founder decks.

  • Turn complex peptide concepts into intuitive visuals and narratives for patients (infographics, explainer diagrams, content layouts).

  • Partner with Growth to test creative concepts, iterate quickly, and build a library of performance-backed design patterns.

Product & Patient Experience

  • Collaborate with our Product Designer / Design Engineer to ensure in-product touchpoints feel coherent with the brand system. You’re providing visual direction and brand expression, not owning UX design.

  • Create visually compelling patient education materials informed by brand storytelling, working with product and clinical teams to translate complex concepts into clear visuals.

  • Contribute to packaging and physical touchpoints (inserts, labels, kits) as we formalize the fulfillment experience.

Brand Architecture & Extensions
  • Help define how Noho shows up across different audiences (patients vs. clinicians vs. partners) while staying one coherent brand.

  • Explore how the brand should flex for new lines of business (e.g., performance, longevity, specialty programs) over time.

  • Build systems that support storytelling around case studies, outcomes, and clinician expertise.

You Might Be a Fit If…
  • You’re strong at concept development. You can take a creative theme and turn it into illustrations, photography direction, and visual systems that scale across channels.

  • You have 7+ years of experience shaping premium consumer brands, with a track record of high-taste visual craft, creative direction, and original concept development. Experience in categories like luxury goods, fashion, hospitality, or high-end real estate is especially relevant.

  • You’ve built or significantly evolved a brand system, not just applied one.

  • You’re comfortable designing for both pixels and Figma components:

    • Digital-first marketing assets (web, lifecycle, paid)

    • Core brand systems (identity, guidelines, templates)

  • You care how a headline, a chart, and a layout work together to make a patient feel informed and safe.

  • You’re energized by ambiguity and autonomy: you like taking a fuzzy problem, proposing a direction, and shipping quickly.

  • You have strong product intuition and are excited to sit close to:

    • Clinicians (to understand what “safe and responsible” really means)

    • Engineering & product (to make sure the experience and the story match)

    • Growth (to learn what actually performs in the wild)

  • You’re motivated by raising the bar for integrity in a category with a lot of noise.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in consumer healthcare (or a strong desire to learn).

  • Comfort with motion design, lightweight animation, or simple prototypes that bring the brand to life.

  • Experience with packaging, print, or physical brand touchpoints.

  • Prior early-stage or founding designer experience.

How We Work

Our culture in a few lines:

  • Patients before process. Agency over authority.

  • Speed with safety. Move fast, treat responsibly.

  • Bias to build. Less debate, more demo.

  • Forgiveness > Permission. Act like an owner.

  • Earn trust. Trust is our most valuable currency.

We’re remote-first and meet in person as a full-time team every six weeks. You’ll get deep ownership, direct access to founders, and a front-row seat as we define how people access peptide-based care for the next decade.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
