This role requires relocation to Austin, Texas for the first year of employment.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance on challenging security projects for our Professional Services and Managed Services customers
  • Develop custom methodologies, payloads, exploits, and tools to ensure project success
  • Develop offensive capabilities based upon security vulnerabilities identified in consulting security projects. 
  • Learn as much as possible about the industry and the work we do

Qualifications:

  • Deep passion for Offensive Security and Adversarial Engineering with a demonstrated ability to both break and build
  • Experience writing software and scripts using common offensive security languages such as Go (Golang), Python, PowerShell, Rust, or Bash
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics

+1 Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable contributions to vulnerability research, exploit development, and CVE assignments
  • Familiarity with AI prompt engineering to support tool development, script generation, payload creation, and adversary emulation
  • Capture-the-flag, CCDC, CPTC or other security related competitions
  • Notable achievements on testing platforms such as Hack the Box, TryHackMe, Portswigger, and/or bug bounty programs
  • Personable git repositories or verifiable open source contributions to popular offensive security projects that demonstrates both your passion and your coding chops
  • Security community experience via presentations, conference attendance, blogs, white papers and similar 
  • Prior internships with cyber, startup, intelligence agencies, and/or high-tech companies
  • PNPT, BSCP, OSCP, CPTS, OSWE, OSCE, OSEP, OSED, CRTO, cloud certifications and similar

We believe in clarity and fairness from the start. For candidates based in California, Colorado, Washington, and New York, the estimated base salary range for this role is $105,000–$140,000. Final compensation will be thoughtfully determined based on your skills, experience, and location.
