Office of the CEO AI & Customer Intelligence Summer Intern

Overview:
The OTC intern will work closely with the Chief of Staff to help build a scalable, AI-powered view of customer health across Pacvue's enterprise accounts. This individual will aggregate and analyze customer engagement data from multiple sources — including Salesforce, Slack, Gong, and Vitally — to surface actionable insights that drive more customer-centric decisions across the organization. The OTC intern will leverage Claude and other AI tools to streamline data synthesis and accelerate insight generation. This internship comes with exposure to company leadership and provides a unique window into how data and AI can directly shape product, partnership, and retention strategy in a dynamic, high-growth business.

Project Scope:

  • Consolidate customer engagement data from multiple platforms (Salesforce, Slack, Gong, Vitally, and others) into a unified view of account health for Pacvue's top enterprise customers.
  • Leverage AI tools to analyze data at scale, identify patterns, and surface the most valuable customer insights.
  • Develop frameworks and scoring approaches to proactively identify customer retention risks and opportunities.
  • Translate customer signals into actionable recommendations for product, partnerships, and go-to-market teams.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to validate findings and ensure insights are relevant and actionable.
  • Assist in documenting and presenting findings in a digestible format for leadership.

Deliverables/Milestones:

  • Contribute to a comprehensive customer health dashboard and reporting infrastructure, synthesizing data across all key engagement sources.
  • Support development of presentations for management throughout the summer internship, highlighting top customer trends, risks, and opportunities.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how to effectively use AI tools to synthesize large datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer success, engagement analytics, and what drives retention and growth in a SaaS business.
  • Develop analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced business environment.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Interest in data analytics and business insights
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude)
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with data in tools like Excel or similar platforms
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Location/Time Zone Preference: United States 

This is an hourly, remote summer internship for college students, offering up to 35 hours per week at a rate of $20 per hour.
This role is available for our 9-week summer cohort running from May 18 – July 17.
