As the Office Coordinator, you are essential to the company’s ability to operate its business effectively by effectively administering the office space, from operating the mail room to ensuring staff amenities are well stocked, clean and available for use.

The How…
Your focus is on ensuring inter-office and external communications are delivered throughout the workday, maintaining a clean and organized office (including aiding in setting up workspaces for new employees), and supporting the administrative team with urgent needs and occasional special projects and events.
You will utilize your one-plus year of experience in a professional office setting, performing work applicable to corporate mailroom operations and office supply management, maintaining the kitchen and breakroom equipment and supplies, and covering the front desk while the Receptionist is on break or out of the office.
Your excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong time management skills will be essential to your success in the position. The role requires a self-starter with a keen eye for creating an inviting workspace while respecting confidentiality.

  • You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.

*The Company provides at least 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year in states with no state mandate. **To be eligible for holiday pay, employees must have completed 30 days of employment as of the holiday date.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes
•    Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, and maintains confidentiality
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
•    Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
•    Knowledge of postal codes, procedures, and regulations
•    Valid driver’s license to operate company-owned vehicles or to utilize own vehicle for work
Education and Experience
•    A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree preferred
•    Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional office setting performing work appliable to corporate mailroom operations, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial real estate environment

Physical Requirements

  • Expected work hours: 7:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday
  • Travel: Occasionally, may need to drive a personal vehicle for business
  • o    Work environment and physical demands: General office environment, ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • o    Ability to move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs to perform functions
  • FLSA Status: Nonexempt
