The Opportunity

GR0 seeks an energetic Office Administrator to join our fun, fast-growing team in Los Angeles. The Office Administrator is essential to our overall company success by maximizing productivity while keeping our executive team organized, informed, and efficient. 

This role will assist our Co-Founders with daily and long-term personal activities. We need someone who loves to wear many hats, maintains composure in a demanding workplace, and takes a proactive approach to everything they do.

Responsibilities will rarely be the same from day to day. Tasks may include running personal errands, managing office operations, coordinating staff and vendors, and arranging travel plans. This position collaborates with our two Executive Assistants and plays a crucial part in GR0’s People Team.

GR0 is dedicated to providing all employees with a competitive salary and top-notch benefits. The Office Administrator role has an hourly pay band of $27. This is a full-time position.

What you’ll do:

  • Support GR0’s team with various tasks, including anything from administrative work to office management to event coordination.
  • Schedule personal appointments, run personal errands, and handle personal travel for our co-founder.
  • Help watch for special occasions for people in the office to assist in employee experience and shout out pets, weddings, birthdays, and related events.
  • Oversee general office operations, order and stock supplies, and ensure the office remains tidy.
  • Be an amazing host by greeting visitors and employees with warmth and excitement.
  • Assist GR0’s People Team in projects like creating welcome boxes or sending laptops to new employees.
  • Act as the key office contact for all purposes: You know how to get the electronic gate to stay open, how to work that sticky lock, where all the extras are for anything, who delivers our mail, and what days the trash gets picked up.
  • Coordinate company-wide programming such as our all-hands presentations.
  • Coordinate scheduling and payment with weekly office cleaners.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Manage birthday and anniversary calendars daily.
  • Assist with random, fun special projects that may arise at any moment.
  • Responsible for shipping office equipment to employees as needed, along with supporting the preboarding process for new hires. This includes preparing and sending GR0 swag boxes ahead of each new hire's start date.

What you’ll bring:

  • 1+ years of administrative and/or personal assistant experience, preferably supporting a high-level executive.
  • Excellent relationship skills and the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of an organization, our landlord, vendors, and more.
  • A highly resourceful, responsive, and adaptable attitude.
  • Strong computer and internet skills with a love for Google Workspace.
  • Solid organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multitasking abilities.
