About the Opportunity: Sagent is looking for an Office Manager to oversee our new location in Dallas, Texas in the Cypress Waters business park. Our Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and administrative functions for our hybrid employees, visitors and vendors. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills. Your hyper attention to detail and efficiency will ensure your success in the role.  This role is a full time, in-office position. 


Your Day to Day at Sagent:

Facilities Oversight:

  • Liaise with Cypress Waters facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment.
  • Restock and re-order supplies for the kitchen. 

Office Management:

  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure that office processes run smoothly.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Manage the scheduling of conference rooms and travel offices. 
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Support several C-level executives as an Administrative Assistant 
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, such as meetings, parties, celebrations, conferences and customer visits.
  • Manage office budget and expenditures.
  • Implement and maintain office procedures and policies.
  • Support HR in onboarding and offboarding employees and scheduling on-site interviews. 

Security:

  • Handle office-related inquiries and provide general support to visitors.
  • Manage security procedures and assist with visitor and employee badging. 
  • Ensure office safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.

 

We’d love it if you had:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant discipline with 3 - 4 years of experience in a similar role. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant.
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
