Qumulo's cloud data platform manages exabytes of the world's most demanding data. Hundreds of us work globally, and our headquarters is two floors in downtown Seattle.

About the Role:

As our Office Manager you'll own Qumulo's in-office experience for employees and guests: snacks, kitchens and coffee, badges and building access, office events, catering, the front desk where everyone starts their day, and the vendors behind it all. Our ideal Office Manager will be passionate about creating a great experience and thrive in the autonomy of running our office.

This is one of our most visible jobs at HQ and has the freedom to be creative. How our space feels and all the little things people look forward to are yours to shape. You'll also have the opportunity to work with the Executive team, Marketing, HR, and Finance on a range of office projects. This role is on-site five days a week, with health, dental, and vision, pre-IPO stock options, and a fully funded ORCA card or on-site parking.

As our Office Manager you will:

  • Own the front desk and guest experience and ensure every visitor, candidate, and staff-member feels genuinely welcome at HQ

  • Plan and run the events that give our office personality, including all-hands meetings, holiday decorating, and celebrations when there's something worth marking

  • Coordinate catering for meetings and events including setup and cleanup when needed

  • Keep the kitchens, drink, and snack areas across floors stocked and clean

  • Order snacks, coffee, beverages, and office supplies, and own the vendor relationships behind them

  • Be the person people come to when something in the office isn't working or needs improvement, diagnosing the problem and working out the fix yourself where you can

  • Manage building and parking access and badges for staff

  • Receive deliveries and handle outgoing mail

  • Partner with the Executive Assistants, Marketing, and other teams on projects and employee events

Our ideal Office Manager will have:

  • 2+ years in office management, reception, operations, administration, or equivalent experience

  • Comfort with everyday office technology so you can restart a printer or conference room without waiting on IT

  • Proficiency with Google & Microsoft office suites, Slack, expense reporting tools like Coupa or Concur, and the confidence to pick up new tools quickly. Bonus if you use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to speed up routine work like drafting an email or learning how to do something new

  • A track record of running multiple concurrent projects within timeframe and budget

  • Attention to detail, organizational planning, and the ability to work independently and prioritize your own day

  • Thoughtful written and verbal communication to work well with a range of personalities

  • A proactive streak that has you chasing down problems before anyone assigns them to you

  • Composure and a sense of humor when several things need attention at once

  • Discretion with confidential and sensitive information

  • Availability to help with events during the day (and occasionally evenings or weekends) as needs require

  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Able to work Monday-to-Friday on-site in downtown Seattle

The hourly pay range for this role is USD $28.00–$39.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and the responsibilities of the role.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Pre-IPO stock options

  • Flexible time-off policy

  • HSA and PPO health insurance options

  • Dental and Vision insurance

  • 401(k) plan

  • Choice of an ORCA card or parking subsidy
