The Opportunity

Prime Intellect is hiring a Founder's Associate, Business Operations to act as a right hand to senior management. This is a high-trust, high-pace role for someone with exceptional judgment and execution who wants to operate at the centre of a frontier AI company.

You’ll work directly with leadership to drive priorities forward, keep execution tight, and remove friction across the org. The work is varied, ambiguous, and intensely practical — the reward is outsized learning, real responsibility, and a clear path to bigger scope for high performers.

About Prime Intellect

Prime Intellect’s mission is to build the open superintelligence stack: from globally distributed compute to frontier agentic models, enabling anyone to train, deploy, and benefit from AGI. Backed by leading investors including Founders Fund and Menlo Ventures, we’re building foundational infrastructure and models for openly accessible AGI.

What You’ll Do

This role is designed to be a force multiplier for senior leadership. You’ll own outcomes end-to-end and build the operating cadence that helps a fast-growing team move faster.

1) Leadership Support & Execution

  • Act as a day-to-day extension of senior management: follow-ups, prioritisation, and closing loops

  • Turn ambiguous problems into clear plans, timelines, owners, and shipped results

  • Drive special projects across functions (ops, finance, recruiting coordination, internal comms, logistics)

  • Prepare briefs, updates, decision memos, and meeting notes that keep everyone aligned

2) Operational Cadence & Systems

  • Build lightweight systems that make execution predictable (tracking, documentation, SOPs)

  • Create a high-quality internal “operating rhythm”: weekly priorities, reporting, and accountability

  • Spot recurring friction and implement fixes that reduce overhead for the team

3) Cross-Functional Problem Solving

  • Jump on whatever is highest priority that week — and deliver without hand-holding

  • Coordinate across time zones (SF/Berlin) to ensure tight communication and fast turnaround

  • Support key moments: hiring/onboarding coordination, team planning, travel/event logistics when needed

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for exceptional horsepower + low ego — someone who is comfortable doing whatever it takes to get the job done, while maintaining high standards and discretion.

You’ll likely be a strong fit if you:

  • Have elite execution ability: fast, precise, relentlessly reliable

  • Can operate independently with excellent judgment and follow-through

  • Communicate clearly and proactively, especially in high-velocity environments

  • Enjoy being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks

  • Have strong organisational instincts and can impose structure on ambiguity

Common backgrounds that do well here:

  • Top-performing early-career candidates from finance, consulting, investing, research, or high-intensity startups

  • People who’ve held high-responsibility leadership roles and thrive in demanding environments

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
  • Leadership trust is earned quickly: you’re plugged into priorities and reliably closing loops

  • Cross-functional projects move faster because you create clarity and accountability

  • The team has stronger operating rhythm: fewer dropped balls, faster decisions

  • You build scalable systems that reduce friction and increase execution velocity

Why This Role Is Different
  • Proximity to decision-making: learn how frontier companies are built from the inside

  • High trust + real responsibility: meaningful scope from day one

  • Meritocratic growth: strong performers expand scope rapidly

  • Mission + intensity: work alongside a world-class team pushing the frontier of open AGI

To apply send a short note on (1) a time you operated at unusually high standards under pressure (2) why Prime Intellect and this role.
