Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $23.85 - $32.79
Preferred Primary Location: NY office
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. What You'll Do
- Access & Security: Maintain secure access for our NYC headquarters using Kastle and LenelS2 systems. You will manage the assignment, tracking, and deactivation of employee and temporary badges
- Facility Maintenance: Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure the office is clear of clutter. You will manage appliance repairs, maintain restrooms, and coordinate with building management and third-party experts like plumbers or electricians as needed
- Employee Experience: Oversee quality services for daily snacks, weekly catered lunch via Fooda, and monthly Connection Days. You will also facilitate seasonal decorations and special events organized by the Employee Experience team
- Onboarding: Conduct biweekly office onboarding sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the workspace
- Shipping & Receiving: Manage the receipt, sorting, and delivery of mail and packages. This includes specialized sorting for departments like Finance, Legal, and HR
- Office Supplies: Manage inventory and order supplies on a biweekly or monthly cadence to meet productivity needs
- Reception: Provide reception coverage (Tuesday-Thursday, 8 AM - 2 PM) and help develop a new SOP as we transition toward a self-service, unmanned receptionist model
- Request Management: Attend to facilities requests through our office ticketing platform (Zendesk) and Slack channels, serving as the first point of contact for employee and subtenant needs
- Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned by the office manager
Who You AreYou are a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver who understands the impact of empathetic communication and values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in facility management
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in office management or facilities oversight in a fast-paced environment
- Resourcefulness: You are a resourceful troubleshooter with a "can-do" spirit of fulfillment
- Organization: You possess a strong attention to detail as well as organizational and administrative skills - capable of managing just-in-time requests with varying levels of intensity
- Relationship Building: You enjoy building and maintaining effective working relationships with people at all levels, including visitors and vendors
Extra credit
- Experience overseeing facilities remotely or internationally
- Interest in or possession of a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential
