Paramount Field Services is staffing a time-sensitive buy-side diligence engagement on a CO2 asset package spanning SW Colorado, NW New Mexico, and West Texas. The Colorado portion of this project covers legacy unitized CO2 source fields and associated pipeline infrastructure in the SW corner of the state.

These are old fields with unit agreements dating to the 1960s and 70s, and the timeline is aggressive — we need someone who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up.

What We're Looking For

We need an experienced contract landman with a strong SW Colorado title background to join a fast-moving diligence team. The work involves courthouse-present title research on unitized CO2 fields, federal and state lease review via SRP, and coordination with a larger multi-state project team. If you know Montezuma, Dolores, or La Plata County records and have run title on old unitized fields before, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • Proven SW Colorado leasehold title experience
  • Familiarity with BLM and Colorado State Land Board lease structures and SRP research protocol
  • Experience running title on unitized fields with older vintage lease chains
  • Courthouse-present availability in the Grand Junction, Cortez, or Durango area
  • RPL, CPL, or equivalent experience preferred; AAPL or RMLA membership a plus

Logistics

  • Engagement type: Contract (1099)
  • Duration: Near-term with potential for extension
  • Location: SW Colorado courthouse presence required
  • Rate: Competitive day rate, commensurate with experience
