Lo que implica este trabajo

Nos encontramos en búsqueda de una persona dinámica para el puesto de Operador de Utilidades para unirse a nuestro equipo:

• Zona de trabajo: Gurabo, Puerto Rico.
• Horario de trabajo: Trabajando en turnos rotativos (tarde y noche). Dias de semana jornada de 12 horas, fin de semana jornada 12 horas.
• Modalidad de trabajo: Presencial
• Tipo de contratación: Tiempo indeterminado

Este rol es responsable del monitoreo y funcionamiento de sistemas de agua purificada (RO, CDI, DI), suministro y tratamiento de agua potable (sistemas de inyección de cloro y sistemas de bombeo) sistemas de vapor (calderas, Re-heat), sistemas de agua helada ( Chillers y torres de enfriamiento), sistemas de reúso de agua y planta de tratamiento de agua, sistemas de acondicionamiento de aire (AHU), sistemas de colectores de polvo, sistemas de monitoreo de cuartos de manufactura, alarma contra incendios y de control de edificios (BAS). Esta persona tendrá la responsabilidad de proporcionar informes/registros escritos al Director de Operaciones para ayudar en el funcionamiento fiable y eficiente del edificio base y las funciones críticas del entorno.

¿Cuál es tu día a día?

• Realiza la supervisión y el programa de funcionamiento durante el turno de los equipos y sistemas eléctricos, de climatización y de agua.
• Operar y supervisar las instalaciones de una EDAR.
• Si es necesario, realiza reparaciones generales de las instalaciones y otras tareas de mantenimiento.
• Opera los sistemas del edificio de forma segura y eficiente de acuerdo con el cumplimiento y los procedimientos operativos y estándar.
• Realiza tareas de mantenimiento correctivo, rutinas, rondas de equipos y solicitudes de servicio según se le indique.
• Inspecciona y genera órdenes de trabajo para reparar: bombas, ventiladores, válvulas y motores, garantizando el correcto funcionamiento de los equipos y sistemas de las instalaciones.
• Seguimiento de las cargas eléctricas/mecánicas de todos los sistemas críticos.
• Debe interactuar con el equipo de operaciones críticas para coordinar el programa de áreas críticas.  Esto incluirá pero no se limitará a; apoyar cualquier ventana de mantenimiento y mantenerse al día con las comunicaciones escritas dentro del Equipo de Entorno Crítico
• Realiza todas las tareas de forma segura y de acuerdo con las normas y prácticas de trabajo establecidas.
• Realizar reparaciones de mantenimiento preventivo o de emergencia fuera del horario de trabajo, según se indique, por las noches y los fines de semana, según sea necesario.
• Cumple con todas las políticas y procedimientos de la empresa y realiza otras tareas que se le asignen.
• Realizar tareas en altura, con cambios extremos de temperatura, levantar, mover y/o transportar hasta 70 libras.
• Proporcionar apoyo de guardia según sea necesario.
• Realizar inspecciones rutinarias del sistema de servicios públicos y ocuparse de cualquier elemento que necesite mantenimiento.
• Obtener/supervisar los puntos de ajuste operativos, los puntos de control y los eventos diarios relacionados con el sistema de servicios públicos.
• Poseer conocimientos generales de mantenimiento y capacidad para reparar/mantener adecuadamente todos los equipos y las instalaciones en general.
• Trabajar con el Supervisor y el planificador para determinar las causas raíz de los daños/mantenimiento y recomendar cambios en los procedimientos/formación.
• Promover hábitos de trabajo seguros y un entorno de trabajo seguro que fomente un índice de accidentes cero.
• Trabajar con el Supervisor para crear y mantener una biblioteca de planos, manuales operativos, procedimientos operativos adecuados y otros datos para obtener información precisa.

Se requiere

• +1 año de experiencia en posiciones similares
• Conocimiento de equipos de utilidades (chillers, compresores de aire comprimido, sistema de tratamiento de agua, sistema de emergencia)
• Conocimiento en programación de control de equipos de utilidades criticas o computadora (deseable).
