YOUR MISSION

As Business Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of our workshop, inventory, and office space. You will play an important role in supporting production by ensuring critical inventory availability. This will have a direct impact on supporting Built’s mission to scale our fleet of robots and minimize robot downtime in the field. You will work closely with Built’s hardware team to organize and maintain inventory assets, utilizing CMMS and PLM software to track inventory throughout its entire lifecycle—from procurement and receiving, to storage, tracking, and deployment. You will identify opportunities to develop and streamline workflows, always looking to optimize processes wherever possible. Additionally, you will oversee office maintenance, monitoring office and kitchen supplies, as well as vendor relationships, to ensure a productive and organized workplace. In this role, you will be fundamental in enabling scalable growth, building the robots that work in one of the world’s most critical industries!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage inventory workflows including asset procurement, coordinating shipping, RMAing (returning) failed components, and maintaining in-house inventory stock levels.

  • Maintain asset tracking systems, including documentation of asset serial numbers, barcode labels, and location tracking using CMMS and PLM software.

  • Travel to the field to audit and maintain deployed inventory and asset information.

  • Work with our cleaners to maintain a clean, organized office for our team.

  • Manage inventory for kitchen and office supplies.

  • Manage office vendors.

  • Manage office improvements and arrange necessary repairs.

  • Organize incoming packages from FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.

  • Support our Business Operations team in other administrative or operations needs.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Positive and motivated individual

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-directed problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization’s success

  • Innovative individual who is constantly looking for new ways to optimize processes

  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in new situations, pick up new skills, and do what it takes to get the job done.

  • Willingness to travel to the field or testing facilities once a month or as required by business needs.

  • Knowledge and proficiency of Gmail, Word and Excel

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs

  • 2+ years experience in customer service, office management, administrative management, inventory management or related, ideally in a startup environment. Experience working with hardware products is a plus.

ABOUT THE COMPANY & ROLE

Built Robotics’ mission is to build the robots that build the world. By automating repetitive tasks in the $300 billion solar industry, Built is bridging the workforce gap to accelerate our transition to clean energy.

The starting annual base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications, working location, and market demands. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation, benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, cell phone and internet reimbursement and more.
