About the Role:

In this role, you’ll be a key leader within the Operations department, driving strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives including service, cost, margin, and planning improvements. The ideal candidate has a background in Operations and/or Strategy, a passion for process improvement, and strength in developing relationships between teams.

This role will report to the Sr. Director of Operations Excellence.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based in Marina del Rey, CA.

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $130,000 to $155,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive strategic objectives and improvements across Operations and cross-functionally
  • Lead strategic, performance improvement, and software projects end-to-end - from identifying opportunities, defining analysis, leading data collection, assessing findings, synthesizing learnings, and driving implementation
  • Deliver executive-quality presentations and written communications to gain stakeholder buy-in during times of hyper-growth and change
  • Perform ad hoc analyses including financial/operational modeling, process design, and research
  • Contribute as a flexible all-around team player - your responsibilities will constantly be growing and evolving based on business needs

About You:

  • The ideal candidate has exceptional analytical problem solving skills, executive communication skills, and comfort navigating ambiguity
  • 5+ years experience in consulting, operations, finance, or business analytics roles 
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of supply chain operations in an e-commerce or retail setting
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup and/or CPG is a plus
  • Highly detailed, organized, and structured problem solver
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Engineering, Science, Business Admin., Economics, Finance preferred
  • People development and managerial experience, with direct reports, is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fast-paced learner and self-starter, comfortable operating in a startup environment
