ABOUT THE JOBIn your role as a Operations Manager, Incidental Engineering, you are responsible for managing the IE schedule and all sub-contractor support for the complete life-cycle of the program. You’ll directly support the rapid deployment of multiple and simultaneous I-CsUAS deployments geographically dispersed across the globe. You’ll build and manage relationships internally with our Mission Operations Managers, Field Operations Technicians while supporting their efforts. You’ll assist the Deputy PM, Regional teams and the LPM identifying, vet, resource, and manage the subcontracts needed to support our international deployment delivery schedule. You fulfill this responsibility through rigorous operational execution, detail orientation, proactive communication, deep mission understanding, and hard-won product expertise. You’ll represent Anduril to our customers and subcontractors, building their confidence and trust through your professionalism and commitment to excellence. You’ll specialize in construction project management, expectation setting, and are a master at managing 3rd party vendors supporting all construction. You’ll oversee and facilitate all construction activities required for the installation of electrical and telecommunication services on military installations and airfields. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customer demand and all regulatory requirements, including FAA, HERO, NAVFAC, environmental, and military specifications for operating sophisticated systems. Above all, you set the standard for what right looks like for your customer, and you rally your Anduril teammates to meet that standard every single day. The ideal candidate will own:
- Mission execution: Do whatever it takes to achieve mission success for Anduril and our customers. Meticulous, resourceful, and detailed-oriented, you will manage every step of the incidental engineering process, from site survey to identifying requirements, then finding and selecting the partner, putting them on contract, then managing milestones to completion and beyond. You’ll manage the overall program master schedule and ensure we are under budget, on time, and low risk. No job is too small. You consistently demonstrate extraordinary judgement, grit, and composure in high pressure situations. You anticipate every contingency, build lightweight processes, soberly assess and mitigate risk, and deliberately learn from your experiences to continuously improve.

- Mission expertise: Develop a deep knowledge of program and sub-contract requirements, regulatory challenges, resource constraints, planning challenges, risk identification, and more. You are a subject matter expert in project management and scheduling and the voice of the Program Manager within our scope. You are capable of effectively communicating requirements between contracts, legal, and finance and translating those requirements into execution at the sub-contractor level. You are deeply motivated to shape the future of the program.
- Product expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Anduril’s CUAS Family of Systems as they relate to the infrastructure needed to accommodate rapid but permanent deployments. You are well versed in government regulatory requirements and steps to permanently emplace systems on military installations. Your are fully proficient at building, updating, and managing the Integrated Master Schedule and use common platforms to your efforts (JIRA, SalesForce, AirTable)
- Identify, contract, and manage subcontractors to work military installation infrastructure improvements to support deployment schedule.
- Manage the Integrated Master Schedule and align milestones to resources.
- Construction project coordination and execution: assist regional managers in plannning and executing complex hardware movements, site installations.
- Communicate plans and timelines to the customer and to internal counterparties.
- Drive cross-functional/integrated program team: lead an integrated team to deliver capability, create focus, drive execution.
- Manage customer and stakeholder expectation and relationships.
- Assist Deputy PM and LPM in supporting large DoD Program of requirements and submit accurate and timely information on deadline.
- Advanced degree or 4+ years experience as a coordinator. Preferably in the defense space.
- Deep interest in national security issues and defense technologies, with a commitment to lifelong learning
- Proven customer-facing program management and/or systems engineering experience, preferably in construction management.
- Can travel up to 25% of the year
- Applicant must have experience demonstrating an ability to lead while building a culture of influence through relationships.

- Applicant is highly effective with collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts of engineers, operations, logistics, etc. to rally in the accomplishment of a unified goal.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
