Blend helps lenders maximize their digital agility. Our digital lending platform is used by Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, and other leading financial institutions to increase customer acquisition, improve productivity, and accelerate the delivery of any banking product across every channel. We process more than $3.5 billion in mortgages and consumer loans daily, helping millions of consumers get into homes and gain access to the capital they need to lead better lives.

We are looking for a knowledge management expert to develop and implement an enterprise-wide strategy for improving the internal documenting, managing, and transfer of knowledge at Blend. Reporting into our Head of Strategic Operations, you will develop systems and standard processes for sharing, storing, and organizing information consistently; streamline the number of enterprise tools we use for workspace collaboration; and help us to foster and grow an open knowledge sharing and collaboration culture.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Design and implement an enterprise-wide strategy for unifying our internal knowledge base to support an increasingly geographically distributed workforce
  • Evaluate which enterprise-wide tools Blend should standardize on for workspace collaboration (e.g. documentation tools, collaboration tools, and project management tools) and develop a corresponding change management strategy, in partnership with information technology, finance, and people operations leadership
  • Set standards, norms, and conventions for searching for knowledge, documenting knowledge, and maintaining its accuracy
  • Reduce complexity of knowledge systems to improve employee access to information
  • Lead and coach a cross-functional team of content authors and documentation owners from across Blend’s departments
  • Partner with Blend’s learning and development team to deliver regular trainings to Blend employees on knowledge management practices
  • Use data analytics tools to measure how employees use and experience Blend’s knowledge base
  • By becoming ingrained in our culture, you’ll develop a knowledge management strategy that is uniquely tailored to Blend, and become a carrier of the culture through the implementation and grass-roots adoption of the strategy and process across the company

Who you are:

  • A knowledge management professional with a proven track record of designing and implementing knowledge management programs from the ground up
  • A systems-level thinker who has expertise leading content and information architecture strategy across an organization
  • A hyper-organized project manager who can manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements from inception to completion with minimal supervision and exacting attention to detail
  • Able to persuade others without formal authority
  • Skilled in developing and executing change management strategies in high-growth technology companies or comparable environments
  • Curious and excited about the future of work
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, eager to try new things and be innovative
  • A continuous learner with a growth mindset and a low ego

Benefits and Perks:

  • Meaningful equity and a 401(k) plan
  • Comprehensive health benefits
  • Wellness benefits covering a variety of wellness activities, fitness classes, fitness equipment and more
  • Stipends for work from home setup, internet, and meals
  • Company-wide mental health days
  • Weekly remote all hands
  • Flexible work schedule, with open vacation policy
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave
