About the Company:

About the Role:

As a member of Wing’s Policy team, you will support Wing’s engagement with local policymakers and community members where we operate.  In this role you will develop and execute a community outreach strategy in close coordination with the policy, communications, marketing and operations teams. You will regularly engage with members of the community and local policymakers and make recommendations on how we can provide a world class service for both our customers, and the larger communities in which Wing operates. 

What you’ll do: 

• Engage with State and Local government officials to keep them updated on Wing’s operations in the areas they represent. 
• Track local and state policies related to drones
• Assist with development and implementation of a cross-functional strategy to engage with the local communities where we operate
• Work closely with the marketing and communications team to help shape Wing’s narrative at a state and local level and help coordinate/execute marketing and communications activities on the ground
• Work to connect with the community by organizing visits with schools, STEM and Robotics clubs, aviation clubs and other community stakeholders and leaders

What you'll need: 

• Proactive team player with a sense of humor and the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing environment
• 5-7 years work experience in policy, public affairs, communications or community engagement
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with public speaking
