The Customer AE Manager is a vital position with Sage Intacct's Customer Success Department. This is a management position with direct reports consisting of Customer Account Executives (CAE's). The Customer AE Manager will manage a team of Customer Account Executives whose objective is to meet or exceed the company plan for booking growth CMRR in the form of Add on Bookings. The ideal candidate will have a combination of sales acumen, domain expertise, industry knowledge, sales management experience, and be driven to provide solutions that allow our CAE's to achieve the highest levels of success for our customers. You are a critical team member in the continuing dramatic growth of Sage Intacct - the market leader in On-Demand Financial Management solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a cohesive team that reflects Sage Intacct's customer centric approach to account management.
  • Establish and maintain weekly add on pipeline forecasting
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to present vertical specific selling strategies to the broader sales audience.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Customer Success to create "one to many" customer communication strategies that will enable repeatable actions to our customer base
  • Provide the VP with weekly forecast metrics on add on opportunities
  • Participate in product demonstrations and discovery sessions as required
  • Create and manage quarterly objectives for the CAE's
  • Provide business analysis, and guidance for complex customer requirements that help drive up sell revenue
  • Participate in monthly Account Manager reviews with customer and CAE
  • Provide Account Review metrics to VP monthly
  • Attend Quarterly Business review (QBR's) with Account Management Team 

Requirements:

  • Strong Sage Intacct domain expertise
  • Ability to engage across multiple departments and functions including Marketing, Customer Support, Product Management, Engineering, and Professional Services
  • Experience interacting with C Level Executives
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to adapt to varying situations and personalities
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to chair meetings or host webinars
  • Organizational skills and computer competency that will facilitate customer and business tracking, follow-up, and team coverage
  • BS/BA and a minimum of 10+ year of business experience
  • Experience managing a sales team
