Job Title: Order Management Representative

Job Classification: Regular, Full Time 

Job Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Department: Customer Service

Reports To: Customer Support Manager

Position Summary

The Order Management Representative is responsible for effectively processing and managing customer orders from the time they are received until the product ships. The Order Management Representative monitors order entry inventory levels, tracks customer pre-books and forecasts compared with actual orders, and ensures special customer requirements are accurate, current, and are properly being tracked.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for processing new orders, update any changes and special shipping requirements is assigned system to facilitate shipping of products.
  • Manage any order shipment changes and communicate information to other departments such as Transportation, Sales, Operations, etc.
  • Responsible for managing all order information by utilizing order management system tools provided via system or hard copy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

 Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)

  • Bachelor’s / Associates Degree in Business or related field and or a combination of job training required.
  • 3+ year’s experience in Sales, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Business knowledge (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Basic ERP and other systems knowledge; IBM AS400, iSeries, Navision experience preferred.
  • Ability to analyze problems independently and facilitate solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret reports, which include numbers and other data.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, promote positive approach to solving problems thorough direct communication with team members.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Perform other related or assigned duties are requested.

Physical Requirements

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
