About the Role

Formulate customer-centric and compelling customer-facing and distribution-facing proposition activation initiatives through deployment of effective communication strategy to drive business growth and competitive market position across Health & Wellness and Life & Wealth Management Propositions in AIAHK & Macau.
Ensure product communications initiatives are in line with regulatory requirements, company’s governance policies and brand standards.
This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

Roles and Responsibilities:


 1.  Proposition activation strategy and implementation

  • Plan, develop and drive the implementation of proposition activation initiatives for all product categories across Individual Life and Employee Benefits businesses to foster new proposition launch and maximize business growth.
  • Understand the product roadmap and proposition strategies including market insights, product positioning and customer personas of each product to formulate competitive and sustainable product communication strategy through compelling product messaging and visualization.
  • Develop customer-centric proposition activation initiatives including product brochures, proposition materials, photo library development and revamp projects.

2. Distribution enablement

  • Build and drive insight-based sales enablement tools and activation materials for key products to enhance distributions capability along buyer journeys backed by data analytics and robust channels feedback.
  • Plan and implement Proposition launch agency events to promote new propositions to create awareness and drive business momentum.

3.       Stakeholders management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Proposition Office including Product, Life & Wealth Management and Health & Wellness Proposition.
  • Work with other stakeholders including Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Customer & Marketing, Operations, Agency Business Development, Partnership Distribution and Group Office to manage the review process to ensure smooth implementation.

4.       Project and quality management

  • Act as a custodian to ensure accuracy, quality and timeline of deliverables including large-scale materials revamp and monthly update to comply with brand standards, corporate governance and regulatory requirements. 
  • Manage budgets and track expenses according to company’s guideline. 

5.       Vendor management and deployment

  • Engage with external vendors including creative agencies, digital agencies, translation houses, printers and Corporate Services to manage the end-to-end development process from concept to layout, artwork development, photos development, visual selection, retouching, production and deployment to digital platforms.

Minimum Job Requirements:


  • University graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline
  • 10 years of solid experience in marketing communications or product marketing
  • 2 - 4 years of team leadership experience
  • Possess basic product knowledge. Experience in financial industry, especially insurance industry is an advantage. 
  • Obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements

  • Strong language skills in written English and Chinese
  • Strong people and communication skills to all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong time management and sound problem-solving skills 
  • You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
