We’re building toward a world where commerce has no bounds. Our enterprise-grade software, services and logistics infrastructure, including our own network of omnichannel fulfillment and distribution centers, enable merchants to navigate an increasingly complex operating landscape and drive efficient growth.

Our goal is to be the global backbone of commerce. To achieve it, we’re looking for entrepreneurial, innovative and determined teammates who are eager to help our growing base of customers simplify their commerce operations and seamlessly reach their own customers, wherever they are. Sound like you? We’d love to hear from you.

  • Be brand obsessed: Our lives are shaped by the brands we interact with daily. We obsess over the brands we serve, and about the things they care about.
  • Think beyond the box: “We’ve always done it that way” is not a phrase uttered often at our office. We create creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Don’t give up: We learn from our challenges and see them for what they are; great building blocks to an amazing brand story.
  • Speak up: We communicate clearly and directly because we care deeply. Communication is the bedrock of our community.
  • Work together: We’ve built a team that prides itself on diversity of thought and background. Collaboration is better with contrast.
  • Remember to be human: We work hard, but we leave room for the people, places and things that we love.

The Role:

The Paid Media Lead is responsible for owning and scaling Cart.com’s paid media strategy across key digital channels to drive measurable business outcomes, including pipeline, revenue, and customer acquisition efficiency. This role combines hands-on campaign execution with strategic leadership, ensuring paid media efforts are aligned with broader go-to-market objectives.

You will lead planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns across search, social, and emerging platforms while partnering cross-functionally with Creative, Analytics, and Marketing Operations to continuously improve performance. As a Lead, you will also establish best practices, mentor team members or agency partners, and drive a data-informed, test-and-learn culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own paid media strategy and execution across channels including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Translate business goals into channel strategies, including budget allocation, targeting, and campaign structure.
  • Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns to improve key performance metrics (e.g., CAC, ROAS, CPA, pipeline contribution).
  • Develop and execute a structured testing roadmap across creative, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and landing pages.
  • Monitor performance, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights through recurring reporting and dashboards.
  • Manage budget pacing, forecasting, and allocation to maximize efficiency and return on investment.
  • Partner with Creative and Web teams to improve ad performance and conversion rates through effective messaging and landing page optimization.
  • Ensure tracking accuracy, pixel implementation, and UTM governance in collaboration with Marketing Operations and Analytics teams.
  • Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in paid media.
  • Mentor junior team members or manage agency partners, ensuring high standards of execution and accountability.

Who You Are:

  • A data-driven marketer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive owner who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
  • A collaborative partner who works effectively across creative, technical, and business teams.
  • A curious, test-and-learn operator who continuously seeks optimization opportunities.
  • A clear communicator who can translate data into insights and recommendations.

What You’ve Done:

  • 5+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital marketing roles.
  • Proven success managing and optimizing campaigns across major ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver results against KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, CPA, or pipeline.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., GA4) and campaign tracking methodologies (UTMs, pixels, tagging).
  • Strong understanding of campaign structure, audience strategy, and conversion optimization principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with programmatic, YouTube, or emerging paid channels.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and incrementality testing.
  • Exposure to marketing automation, CRM systems, or attribution tools.
  • Experience in high-growth or data-driven marketing environments.

Currently, Cart.com does not intend to hire candidates who will need, now or in the future, Cart.com sponsorship through any non-immigrant visa category such as the H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, or TN.
