Provide litigation support including federal and state court filing (including e-filing), research, pre-trial and trial assistance, heavy calendaring and scheduling for multiple attorneys, client and witness contact, organizing case files, and using document management systems.
Messner Reeves LLP, a national law firm, is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Litigation Paralegal to join our team in California.
Litigation Paralegal Job Duties:
- Well versed in both federal and state court procedure and filing requirements, to include E-Filing in federal court.
- Research proficient, pre-trial prep, and trial assistance experience.
- Experience handling multiple attorneys with full caseloads. Coordinate heavy scheduling and calendaring for attorney meetings, court deadlines and depositions.
- Heavy client contact, contact with witnesses and opposing counsel to obtain information pertinent to the case matter.
- Organize records, documents, correspondence, and files into a manageable format.
- Must demonstrate a strong worth ethic and consistent schedule.
- Experience with document management system.
- 4+ years' of Paralegal experience
- Defense Law experience
- Paralegal Certificate
- Must be located in California
