Join the company that’s building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era. At Cribl, we partner with IT and Security teams at many of the world’s biggest enterprises, including half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, we give customers the choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents, so they can build what’s next.

We’re one of the fastest‑growing private companies and a leading player in a massive, fast‑moving market. With a global workforce, we’re remote‑first and grounded in a simple idea: software is a people business. Cribl is the place where curious, collaborative people can do their best work, grow fast, and bring their full selves to the herd.

This is a remote role based out of the United States

Why You'll Love This Role

This isn't your typical Sales Engineering role. You are a builder, a coach, and a strategist. Your mission is to build a highly skilled, self-sufficient technical community within our partner ecosystem. You will be the force multiplier that enables our partners to win, driving our mutual success and scaling our business across the region.

  • Strategic Technical Authority: Serve as the primary architectural expert for our National VAR portfolio. Partner with partner CTO offices and Practice Directors to integrate Cribl into core reference architectures and integration labs.
  • Scalable Enablement: Design and execute a technical enablement strategy—including leading workshops, bootcamps, and certification paths—to transform partner technical capabilities into self-sufficient delivery engines.
  • Deal Acceleration & Mentorship: Champion the partner-led sales motion. Enable, mentor and shadow partner SEs through live sales cycles to build their confidence, increase deal velocity, and expand partner-led revenue.
  • Practice Innovation: Help partners design and launch profitable, Cribl-powered professional services practices, such as "Observability-as-a-Service" and "SIEM Optimization."
  • The Ultimate Connector: Build seamless alignment between internal Cribl sales teams and partner engineering teams, ensuring absolute trust and collaborative execution on enterprise accounts.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will…

  • Partner Co-Selling & Scale: Support the initial technical sales motion alongside our partners. Conduct high-impact demonstrations, field complex architecture questions, and act as the primary tier-3 advisor for partner-led Proof of Values (POVs).
  • Mentorship & Certification: Shadow and coach partner SEs through active deal cycles, systematically moving them from guided support to complete technical self-sufficiency.
  • Community Contribution: Document unique data routing use cases, author technical blog posts, and contribute to internal/external product documentation to enrich the global Cribl partner community.
  • Operational Flexibility: Travel up to 30% for partner-facing workshops, events, and QBRs. Seamlessly collaborate across multiple time zones in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours

If You’ve Got It - We Want It

  • Telemetry Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of IT Operations and Enterprise Security, with strong experience managing data pipeline structures—specifically Logs, Metrics, and Traces (OTel).
  • Data & Scripting DNA: Hands-on proficiency with JavaScript and Regex to shape, mask, and route data streams, combined with a strong working mastery of Linux operating systems.
  • Modern Cloud Storage: Solid understanding of cloud data architectures and modern object storage platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob, Snowflake, MinIO).
  • Professional Experience: A proven background in Enterprise Systems Engineering, Technical Professional Services, or high-level Technical Support.
  • The Cribl Mindset: A remote-work veteran with curiosity and grit. You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty—ideally, you've already played with our free sandboxes and are ready to bring us product feedback on day one.
  • Experience working remotely
