About the Role

The Suite is seeking a Partnerships Account Executive to power the growth engine of our sponsorship ecosystem. Your mandate: drive new business, foster deep relationships with industry-leading partners, and ensure mutual value and high-impact engagement at every stage. Reporting to our VP, Business Development & Partnerships, you’ll own the entire sponsorship lifecycle from pipeline management and relationship cultivation through renewal and upsell, all with a relentless focus on long-term value creation.

You’ll develop and deepen senior-level relationships with key industry players, translating business needs into actionable partnership strategies while keeping our communities’ integrity and objectives front and center. If you thrive in fast-paced, relationship-driven environments and possess a proven knack for business development, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new sponsorship revenue, execute retention and renewal strategies, and meet/exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Cultivate trusted relationships with senior leaders at high-value organizations, ensuring The Suite is a valued and visible partner.

  • Grow, manage, and renew a robust portfolio of existing sponsor relationships—identifying fresh opportunities for upsell and expansion.

  • Collaborate with Partner Success Managers to seamlessly onboard partners and champion best-in-class experiences from day one.

  • Create, enhance, and deliver high-impact collateral—presentations, sales materials, and thought leadership pieces.

  • Maintain rigorous pipeline and forecasting discipline, with a sharp eye on coming renewals, risk signals, and emerging opportunities for deeper engagement.

  • Lead renewal negotiations with clarity, efficiency, and compelling business cases that resonate with decision-makers.

  • Ensure CRM hygiene and reporting accuracy—tracking activity, feedback, metrics, and outcomes to power data-driven decision-making.

  • Empower partners by proactively communicating value, fostering loyalty through exceptional service, and addressing challenges head-on.

  • Advance The Suite’s AI-forward approach, contributing to the design and deployment of automations and agent-driven workflows that scale impact and strengthen the partner experience.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience driving results in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, or client solutions roles.

  • Proven success managing high-value, senior-level relationships in complex organizations—ideally with experience in the tech, finance, or startup ecosystems.

  • Natural collaborator and communicator, able to build rapport and influence across all levels of a partner organization.

  • Track record of meeting (or exceeding) aggressive sales/revenue targets while maintaining a customer-first mindset.

  • Strong project and process management skills—skilled at navigating complex renewals with strategic foresight and attention to detail.

  • Proven contributor to AI-driven or automation initiatives—whether designing automations, building agents, or championing new workflow adoption.

  • Superior presentation skills, with the ability to craft executive-ready materials and deliver insights with clarity and impact.

  • Demonstrated agility, resilience, and a “solutions-first” mindset—comfortable navigating ambiguity and running toward a challenge.

  • Familiarity or deep relationships in technology, financial services, and/or banking communities considered a plus.

About The Suite

We are a team of ~80 of the world’s greatest community builders and technologists.
We build high-quality and highly-curated professional communities. We run two of these communities today, including our flagship The L Suite / TechGC, which is a private, invite-only community for General Counsels / Chief Legal Officers and their teams at high-growth tech companies and venture funds, and The F Suite, which is a private, invite-only community for Chief Financial Officers and their teams.
We currently have 5,000+ active members across our communities, representing C-Suite executives and their deputies from most of today’s leading tech companies (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Airbnb, Slack, Coinbase, Uber, Notion, Bolt, Figma, Airtable, Dropbox, Bilt, Datadog, etc.) and venture funds (e.g., a16z, Softbank, Tiger, Accel, Thrive, Battery Ventures, FirstMark, Kleiner Perkins, Insight, etc.).
Each of our communities is unique, but they are all underpinned by our custom-built member platform - the Braintrust. The Braintrust has rapidly emerged as the next evolution of the professional community platform, powering real-time conversations with the right peers at the right time as well as personalized research, insights, and strategies. The Braintrust is one of the strategic pillars supporting our mission to help today’s business leaders excel in their jobs with better and faster answers to their most pressing challenges.
We are a well-funded, profitable, and rapidly scaling startup with a high-impact team.

What Makes Us Unique

We fill a painful hole in the market at an unprecedented time in history. As executives are being pressured to master AI and “do more with less” while at the same time navigating an increasingly complex business environment, the right information and perspective has become harder and harder to find. The dominant networking platforms of the day are too broad and diluted to be effective resources, and it has become difficult to parse through the noise and misinformation to hone in on what really matters. Executives are rapidly retreating back to private, trusted communities for their information, support, and their most interesting conversations.
That’s where we come in. We connect executives to their most valuable resource - their peers - through a highly-curated collection of professional communities. In addition to attending live events, our members get access to the Braintrust, which is a comprehensive research and curated networking platform enhanced by Lloyd (our community-powered AI agent). After logging in, members are immediately connected with their closest peers, and are able to leverage their knowledge and experience for advice, service provider recommendations, benchmarking data, peer coaching/mentorship, and much more. The Braintrust also features a resource library with hundreds of educational videos, templates, and other materials from our community events.
