Overview
Alex + Ani is seeking a Partnerships and Corporate Sales Manager to drive revenue growth through licensed partnerships, brand collaborations, and IP-driven product extensions. This role is focused on building and growing a strong portfolio of licensing partners — identifying new opportunities, expanding existing relationships through new collections and categories, and managing renewals.
This person will work with internal teams (design, product development, merchandising) to bring licensed collaborations to life, ensuring partnerships translate into compelling, revenue-driving product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop a pipeline of new licensing partners and IP collaboration opportunities aligned with brand strategy
- Build and manage a portfolio of licensing partners, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships
- Support partnership and licensing conversations, including reviewing and contributing to agreement terms, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Lead renewals and extensions of existing partnerships, ensuring continuity and growth
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing partners into new collections, product categories, and distribution channels
- Serve as a key point of contact for partners, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and opportunities
- Partner closely with design, product development, and merchandising teams to support the launch and expansion of licensed collections
- Lead analytical tracking of partner performance and pipeline activity through data hindsighting, trend analysis, and revenue forecasting to identify opportunities, assess risks, and provide visibility into projected revenue and key timelines
- Stay informed on licensing trends, competitive activity, and emerging IP opportunities
Ideal Background & Experience
- 4–7+ years of experience in licensing, partnerships, or brand collaborations, ideally within consumer products, retail, or accessories
- Experience supporting and contributing to licensing agreements and partnership negotiations
- Analytically minded with a strong data-informed decision-making approach; strong Excel skills with experience building ad hoc analyses, forecasts, reporting tools, and actionable business insights
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to grow and expand partner accounts over time
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, product development, merchandising, and finance teams
- Highly organized with strong follow-through; able to manage multiple partners and initiatives simultaneously
- Commercially minded, with a focus on driving revenue through partnerships
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
