This role ensures that tuition programs, education assistance, workforce sponsorship agreements, and related tax and forgiveness initiatives comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including IRS guidelines, and student loan forgiveness programs.  The position oversees audits, reporting, and policy compliance to maintain institutional eligibility, mitigate risk, and support program integrity.  Works closely with clinical departments, Human Resources, Finance, FranU, and Payroll.

Responsibilities
  • Compiles, analyzes, and reports on payroll, compensation, timekeeping, and workforce program data to identify compliance risks, utilization trends, policy exceptions, and operational improvement opportunities. Develops dashboards, metrics, and actionable insights for leadership and leads the implementation of corrective actions, risk mitigation strategies, and process improvement initiatives that strengthen controls, improve accuracy, enhance operational efficiency, and support regulatory compliance.

  • Conducts internal audits of payroll operations, physician compensation interfaces, workforce investment programs, sponsorship agreements, educational assistance programs, and forgiveness program eligibility to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and data integrity standards.

  • Monitors changes in federal, state, and regulatory requirements affecting payroll, tax reporting, educational assistance, workforce investment programs, and forgiveness initiatives, and develops, updates, and implements policies, procedures, and controls to maintain organizational compliance.

  • Develops educational resources and provides consultation to leaders and stakeholders regarding payroll compliance, workforce program requirements, regulatory obligations, and organizational policies.

  • Maintains documentation, audit records, compliance evidence, reconciliations, and reporting required to support program governance, regulatory requirements, financial accuracy, and organizational audits.

  • Partners with Payroll, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, clinical departments, and operational leaders to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of payroll, compensation, timekeeping, and workforce program data.
Qualifications

Experience: 5 years Human Resources, Payroll, Compliance, Workforce Programs Administration, and/ or Healthcare Operations.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
