At MECCA, our People & Education team plays a critical role in enabling business performance, organisational growth, and exceptional team member experiences. We’re looking for a commercially minded and adaptable People & Education Manager to support key business areas in our Support Centre on a Fixed Term Contract - Ending September 2027.

This role partners closely with senior leaders and ELT stakeholders to drive people initiatives, organisational change, HR case files, employee relations outcomes, and talent strategies across a fast-paced and evolving environment. 

The Role You Could Play: 

Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, you will partner across multiple business functions in our Support Centre (head office) to deliver both strategic people initiatives and operational HR support. You will: 

  • Provide trusted HR operational, employment lifecycle, and employee relations support, including coaching leaders through recruitment conversations, team structures, ways of workings, performance matters, feedback conversations, and workplace concerns  

  • Partner with and support leaders to deliver key people initiatives within departments, including Pulse survey action plans, workshops, talent reviews, succession planning, and annual remuneration reviews  

  • Support organisational change activity including restructures, communications, and evolving ways of working  

  • Coordinate cyclical people processes including performance reviews, calibration, talent mapping, and broader People team initiatives  

What You Will Bring: 

You are a confident and commercially minded HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. Ideally, you will bring: 

  • Experience in HR Business Partnering, People & Culture, or Employee Relations focused roles within large-scale or high-growth organisations  

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, including partnering with Senior Leadership and ELT stakeholders  

  • Solid HR partnering and employee relations experience, including hiring support, talent identification, onboarding management, development coaching, performance management, grievances, coaching, and complex workplace matters  

  • Experience supporting organisational change and people initiatives within dynamic business environments  

  • The ability to balance strategic project work with reactive operational priorities across multiple stakeholder groups
