Dyna Robotics makes general-purpose robots powered by a proprietary embodied AI foundation model that generalizes and self-improves across varied environments with commercial-grade performance. Dyna's robots have been deployed at customers across multiple industries. Its frontier model has the top generalization and performance in the industry.

Dyna Robotics has raised over $140M, backed by top investors including CRV, First Round Capital, Robostrategy, Salesforce Ventures, NVentures, Amazon, Samsung Next, and LG Technology Ventures. Our team brings together engineers and researchers from Google, Meta, Apple, Amazon, Cruise, Aurora, NVIDIA, along with academic roots at Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, UPenn, and beyond. We're positioned to redefine the landscape of robotic automation.

The Role

As a People Operations Coordinator at Dyna Robotics, you will be the first person employees come to as they navigate the day to day of their employment, from their first day to their last. You will own the mechanics of onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle changes while also serving as an approachable resource for questions big and small.

This is a hands on, detail oriented role, based onsite in Redwood City. It suits someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys building processes as much as running them.

What You'll Do

Onboarding and offboarding

  • Run onboarding end to end. Own new hire paperwork, equipment coordination, account provisioning, and first day logistics so people arrive ready to work.

  • Run offboarding with the same care. Handle exit paperwork, equipment returns, system deprovisioning, and exit interviews.

  • Improve as you go. Refine both workflows continuously so the experience holds up as the company scales.

Employee lifecycle and records

  • Process changes accurately. Handle promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and role changes correctly and on time.

  • Keep records clean. Maintain accurate, compliant employee records in the HRIS.

  • Stay aligned with policy and law. Make sure documentation and processes meet company policy and employment law requirements.

  • Administer required trainings. Roll out harassment prevention, safety, and compliance trainings, and track completion.

Employee support

  • Be the first point of contact. Field employee questions on policies, benefits, payroll, time and attendance, and anything else People related.

  • Make answers easy to find. Maintain and update internal resources so employees can self serve where possible.

What You'll Bring
  • 1-3+ years in People Operations, HR, or a similar coordinator role.

  • Strong organizational skills. You can carry multiple processes and deadlines at once without dropping any of them.

  • High attention to detail, especially with sensitive employee data and documentation.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a builder's mindset. You are excited to create process, not just follow it.

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and G Suite, plus general tech savviness.

Bonus points for
  • Startup experience.

  • Hands on experience with Ashby, Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR, or similar platforms.

  • Experience working with a PEO (Professional Employer Organization).

Additional Requirements
  • Onsite presence. This position is based in Redwood City, CA and requires being onsite full time. Hybrid and remote options are not available for this role.

  • Flexibility. Willingness to work extended hours as needed during hiring surges or ahead of deadlines.

At Dyna Robotics, we build technology for the real world, which requires a team as diverse as the environments our robots inhabit. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to technical rigor and mutual respect.

Don't let a checklist stop you. Data shows that underrepresented groups often only apply if they meet 100% of the criteria. We value problem-solving and grit over keyword matching. If you're passionate about closing the loop between deployed robots and better models, we want to hear from you, even if you don't check every box.
