This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves creating order from chaos, and takes pride in delivering an excellent employee experience.

About You:
  • 3+ years of experience in HR / People Operations

  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and reliable execution

  • Ability to manage multiple moving requests and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiar with HR tools (Rippling preferred; Ashby, Pulley a plus) and strong data accuracy habits

  • Can create repeatable workflows and improve existing processes

  • Responsive, empathetic, solution-oriented, and professional in communication

  • Excellent judgment handling sensitive employee information

  • Team-first, eager to learn, and comfortable building from scratch as the People function evolves

  • Able to support review cycles, engagement surveys, and employee programs with strong execution and continuous improvement

What You’d Be Working On:People Operations
  • Own onboarding logistics for new hires (merch, laptops/equipment shipping, office setup)

  • Partner with Head of People to build, improve, and document People policies and programs (performance cycles, engagement, feedback)

  • Maintain clear internal documentation and employee-facing communications to reduce confusion and increase alignment

  • Support People systems and workflows (Rippling and related tools like Ashby, Pulley, etc.) with accuracy and care

  • Help streamline, document, and improve recurring People + ops processes

Culture, Events, & Employee Experience
  • Plan and execute team events and external events that strengthen culture and community

  • Increase participation and drive consistently positive event feedback

  • Support employee wellbeing and benefits operations as we scale

  • Create a high-touch, thoughtful office environment that makes people feel supported and excited to come in

Office & Workplace Operations
  • Own the daily SF office experience: ensure the office is stocked, organized, functional, and welcoming

  • Coordinate and execute facilities improvements and projects (e.g., shelving, room repurposing, IT equipment organization)

  • Manage office vendors and building relationships (supplies, maintenance, services, etc.)

  • Track and manage office budgets and spend, ensuring strong cost awareness and clear reporting

It’d be a major bonus if one or more of these apply to you:
  • Experience in people operations, workplace operations, or an operations-heavy role at a startup

  • You’ve run events, managed vendors, and improved operational systems end-to-end

  • You’re comfortable owning work independently and making good judgment calls with lightweight direction

What We Can Offer (FT):
  • Competitive salary and equity grant. We have a standard four year vesting schedule with one year cliff

  • We give 4 weeks off total and we want you to use them! This is on top of federal holidays 🇺🇸🎉

  • Platinum level medical, vision, and dental insurance with 99% employer-paid premiums for employees and coverage for eligible dependents

  • 401(k) retirement savings and investing plan

  • $100 monthly gym stipend

  • Computer, monitor, and home office setup reimbursement. We will get you what you need to do your best work!

  • We pay for relocation if you're not local but willing to move to the San Francisco office!

  • The salary range is 115k-140k base for this role.
