Join our dynamic team at Plus as a Perception Intern and immerse yourself in the cutting-edge world of autonomous vehicles delivering real-world impact. You'll dive into the heart of a state-of-the-art simulation pipeline and collaborate with industry experts as you train and fine-tune multimodal deep learning models.
Responsibilities
- Develop state of the art technologies to detect unknown or foreign objects using multi-modal sensor streams.
- Develop and benchmark cutting-edge techniques in deep learning.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize and seamlessly integrate developed techniques into the production perception/AV stack.
Required Skills
- Pursuing MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- Software design and development experience in Python
- Knowledge and/or experience with Machine Learning/Deep Learning
- Experience in 3D computer vision
Preferred Skills:
- Past experiences in deep learning projects involving object detection, motion tracking or semantic segmentation
- Experience with 3D Vision
- Publication record in relevant venues (CVPR, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, AAAI, SIGGRAPH)
