Perenimals is a character-driven IP built out of Perena — a Solana-native stablecoin protocol. We started with a cast of original characters and a community of crypto-native holders, and we're building toward something bigger: a world with its own visual language, lore, and cultural gravity.
We're at an early but real inflection point. The characters exist. The community exists. What we're building now is the system to turn that into a durable IP — one with licensing potential, collab pull, and a fanbase that actually gives a shit.
This role is for someone who wants to be the architect of that, not a caretaker of it.
What you'll doOwn the IP growth strategy. Set the content and channel strategy: what we post, where, how often, and why Establish growth metrics and hold the team accountable to them — not vanity metrics, but signals that the IP is building real equity Decide which workstreams to double down on and which to kill
Work directly with our junior social lead and artist Create briefs, feedback loops, and a content calendar
Identify and pursue collabs with creators, brands, games, other IPs without diluting it Develop a point of view on licensing and partnerships as the IP matures Find the communities where Perenimals belong and embed authentically
You've grown a character-first IP from small to mid-size — not managed an established one.
You have strong opinions about narrative and world-building, and you know how to translate those into a content strategy a small team can execute
You understand distribution: platform dynamics, algorithmic behavior, community mechanics, creator partnerships
You've run collabs or partnerships that made the IP bigger
Bonus: you've worked in crypto-native or gaming-adjacent IP and understand how digital communities form
