We're seeking freelance Performance Marketing Designers to create high-impact creative assets for paid social and digital advertising channels. This role is focused on producing static and lightweight motion assets tailored for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and programmatic display. Ideal candidates bring a strong direct-response design background, an understanding of performance marketing fundamentals, and the ability to translate data-driven insights into creative iterations. Contract projects typically range from 10–40 hours per week, depending on client needs and project scope.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling and high performing static ad assets tailored for Meta, TikTok, and display placements.
- Develop lightweight motion designs, including GIFs, simple animations, and short video edits.
- Adapt creative for multiple formats, platform requirements, and aspect ratios.
- Translate performance insights into rapid creative testing and iterative asset development.
- Collaborate with strategists, media buyers, and copywriters to bring new concepts and angles to life.
- Maintain brand consistency while exploring new creative directions for testing.
- Prepare and deliver production-ready files optimized for performance marketing environments.
- Support clients with ongoing creative ideation and experimentation.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing paid social and performance marketing design work.
- Experience building static ads and familiarity with direct-response creative best practices.
- Ability to produce GIFs, lightweight animations, or simple video edits.
- Comfort working within fast testing cycles and adapting creative based on performance data.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and/or Figma.
Tools & Platforms
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Figma or similar design platforms.
- Basic motion or video editing tools for lightweight animation work.
- Familiarity with performance marketing workflows or asset management systems is a plus.
