The Yahoo Ads Performance Measurement team bridges complex data science, ad tech product architecture, and commercial sales strategy. We empower advertisers and internal account teams to quantify the true incremental value of their media investments across Yahoo’s omni-channel ecosystem. Operating at the forefront of digital advertising identity and privacy shifts, we develop scalable, actionable measurement frameworks that drive client confidence and revenue growth.


A Little About You


We are seeking a Performance Measurement Lead to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our direct sales force to drive revenue and growth. In this role, you will work to build and scale advanced measurement adoption by working with Yahoo Ads sellers and clients. You will influence executive business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to build and deliver the go-to-market plan for advanced measurement.


Additionally, you will assess the needs, opportunities, and gaps our clients experience, equip sellers with the knowledge, resources, market insights and tools needed to drive success and adoption, and work to develop case studies that complement our go-to-market positioning and client vertical narratives for Yahoo Ads’ suite of products.


A strong analytical background, communication and problem-solving skills, plus a solid understanding of digital advertising are essential.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive research menu of custom measurement solutions—including incrementality, conversion lift, multi-touch attribution (MTA), and in-flight optimization—tailored to client objectives and business KPIs.
  • Translate analytical findings into strategic media optimization recommendations (bid, budget, audience, creative, and channel mix) grounded in incremental ROAS, CPA, and business outcomes.
  • Integrate enterprise AI tools (e.g., Claude) into measurement workflows to rapidly analyze disparate performance signals, generate client vertical narratives, and produce initial case study drafts.
  • Identify and implement automated, AI-driven efficiencies across repetitive reporting, deck generation, and sales enablement requests to scale team bandwidth.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external research providers to ensure seamless execution and integration of solutions that support client objectives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Product, Data Science, and GTM teams to champion advanced measurement adoption and educate internal teams.
  • Continuously monitor and iterate on research efficacy, translating feedback from the field into repeatable measurement best practices.
  • Analyze diverse datasets & distill findings into actionable insights; communicate results via compelling visuals, presentations, and case studies

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising measurement, performance marketing analytics, or attribution modeling (e.g., Incrementality testing, MMM, MTA, and aggregated measurement).
  • 4+ years of client-facing experience, with a track record of influencing executive-level clients, managers, and sellers
  • Deep knowledge of the modern privacy and signal-loss ecosystem (e.g., third-party cookie deprecation, privacy sandboxes, consent frameworks, clean rooms, and modeled data solutions).
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize diverse, high-volume datasets into clear, executive-ready visualizations and strategic GTM narratives.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing generative AI platforms (e.g., Claude, NotebookLM, Gemini) to accelerate data synthesis, streamline deck preparation, or build automated enablement workflows.
  • Proven project management track record directing multi-stakeholder initiatives across technical and business functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing structured prompt workflows or lightweight custom GPTs/assistants 
  • Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), and ad tech DSP/SSP reporting infrastructures.
  • Experience navigating third-party measurement vendor procurement, methodology evaluation, and contract onboarding.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
