Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for processing, cataloging, rehousing, and managing the digitization of the Universal Pictures photography collection. These assets include but are not limited to negatives, prints, transparencies, and digital files. Please note: This role is a temporary staff position with an end date of approximately 3 years.
What You'll Do:
- Archivally process, catalog, and rehouse photography and related materials.
- Prepare, transport, and monitor collections for internal and external teams for large scale digitization project.
- Serve as liaison and provide necessary support between external vendor and Digital Asset Management team during uploading process of scanned photography.
- Prepare status reports and metrics of photography collections for internal stakeholders.

What You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in history, archival administration, library science, museum studies, or equivalent work experience
- Manual dexterity to handle fragile collections and ability to lift 40-pound boxes
What Would Make You a Stand-out:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Experience with digitization methods and metadata of digital files
- Experience and knowledge of working with photography negatives

- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
