Physician Assistant (APP) or Family Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care Medicine
$200,000 Per Year Practicing Half the Month in Bakersfield, CA
Employed Model with Full Benefits and a 401(k)
Salary: $85/hr. plus Overtime
Bonuses: $10,000 Sign-on and a $10,000 Annual Retention, and a $10,000 Productivity Bonus
Job Overview: Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA, for nine consecutive years. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for our clinic locations in Bakersfield, CA.
Physician Assistant (APP) Responsibilities:
- Family Nurse Practitioners practice twelve-hour (12) shifts with two 30-minute breaks daily
- Full-time is defined as a minimum of 12 on-site shifts per month and 2 on-call shifts per month.
- Part-time is a minimum of 6 on-site shifts per month, and no call
- Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
- Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing, X-ray, and EKG.
- X-ray results are available and in the patient's chart within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- Easy-to-use EMR: Experity with Dragon dictation to document all patients in minutes
Physician Assistant (APP) Requirements | Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies
- CA Medical License that is active and in good standing with no restrictions
- CA DEA Certificate in good standing with no restrictions
- One + year of relevant urgent care experience
