Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in Ruidoso NM. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.

Practice Highlights

  • Monday - Friday Schedule: Provider will have 36 hours of scheduled patient care and 4 hours of administrative time per week. 4-day work week option.

  •  call required per month includes inpatient rounding & attending newborn deliveries

  • Pediatric Hospitalist on site during weekends

  • Patient Volume is average 15 to 25 patients per day

  • Procedures required to include circumcisions

  • deliveries 70-90/month. 8-12 bed Pediatric unit

  • Student Loan Forgiveness Eligible (NHSC, PSLF, NM Health Professional Loan Repayment Program)

What We’re Seeking:

  • Must be BC/BE in Pediatrics

  • Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice

  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment

  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico

Responsibilities

*Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
*Manage the physician/patient relationship.
*Participate in system wide health management initiatives.
*Provide input into the practice site s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
*Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
*Receive and resolve patient complaints.
*Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
*Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.
*Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.
