Job Title: Placement Specialist

Reports To: Senior Consultant, Alternative Funding Division
Summary:
The Placement Specialist provides critical support to the Senior Consultant, Alternative Funding Division, by assisting in the analysis, implementation, and management of alternatively funded employer medical plans. This role involves in-depth data analysis, vendor management support, and the creation of client-facing reports and presentations. The Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of self-funded solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data to identify trends, assess risk, and develop data-driven recommendations for plan design and cost containment strategies.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to track plan performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development of financial models to project plan costs and savings.
- Vendor Management Support:
- Assist in the evaluation and management of relationships with key vendors, including PBMs, TPAs, stop-loss carriers, and point solution providers.
- Gather and analyze vendor proposals to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service offerings.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon metrics and service level agreements.
- Client Support:
- Prepare client presentations and reports summarizing plan performance and recommendations.
- Assist in the implementation of new self-funded plans, including coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales Support:
- Conduct research on prospective clients and their current benefit plans.
- Assist in the development of customized alternative funding solutions to meet client needs.
- Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging solutions in the self-funding market.
- Conduct research on competitor offerings and best practices.
- Share insights and recommendations with the team.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with internal resources, including underwriting, actuarial, and client service teams, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Actuarial Science).
- 3+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry, with a focus on data analysis or alternative funding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
