Founded in 2015, Parade’s mission is to democratize the best software and tools, at scale, for the logistics teams moving trade.

Today, we power $6.4B in freight under management, and our AI-driven automation has delivered 40–100% profit increases for some of the industry’s largest and most innovative brokers. With 44+ integrations across TMS platforms, load boards, and carrier networks, Parade has become the infrastructure of trust for the freight industry.

By uniting fragmented systems into a single, AI-powered capacity management layer, Parade is transforming how freight is booked, matched, and executed.

Why we need you

We’re scaling quickly and looking for a Platforms Engineer to architect, build, and scale the foundational infrastructure that powers logistics around the world.

This isn’t just another DevOps or infra role:

  • You’ll own and evolve the core platform systems that process millions of carrier quotes and thousands of automated transactions weekly.

  • You’ll design infrastructure that enables freight brokers to reach 50%+ load digitization, transforming one of the world’s largest and most operationally complex industries.

  • You’ll play a critical role in supporting next-generation AI systems like CoDriver, our GenAI-powered suite that accelerates automation from weeks to days.

  • Your work will ensure Parade’s services scale reliably, securely, and with exceptional performance as we expand rapidly.

We need strong platform engineering leadership to keep our systems resilient, observable, and ready for the next phase of growth.

Who are you?
  • You are passionate about building reliable, high-scale infrastructure and developer platforms.

  • You collaborate closely with backend, product, and data teams to design systems that enable fast, safe, and high-quality development across the company.

  • You care deeply about automation, observability, and repeatable patterns.

  • You communicate clearly across teams and make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, cost, scalability, and reliability.

  • You thrive in environments where you can influence technical direction and uplevel engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.

  • Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and running microservices in production.

  • Strong experience with Terraform.

  • Familiarity with GCP (preferred) or another major cloud provider (AWS, Azure).

  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, queues, and async workloads (e.g., Google Pub/Sub, Celery, RabbitMQ).

  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing deployment workflows.

  • Strong monitoring/observability experience—Sentry, New Relic, Google Cloud Monitoring, logging pipelines, alerting, SLOs.

  • Solid understanding of networking, security, secrets management, and environment orchestration.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Atlantis for Terraform automation.

  • Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or FluxCD specifically.

  • Comfortable with Python-based backend systems—frameworks like Django, FastAPI, etc.

  • Experience with data ETLs, ideally with Airflow.

  • Enthusiasm for using AI-powered coding tools (e.g., ClaudeCode, GitHub Copilot) to improve development velocity and quality.

About Our Stack
  • Cloud & Infra: GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, FluxCD, CircleCI, Atlantis

  • Backend: Python3, Django, FastAPI

  • Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL (PostGIS), Redis, BigQuery, Google Pub/Sub, Celery, RabbitMQ

  • Frontend: React/NextJS/Typescript

  • Monitoring & Observability: Sentry, NewRelic, GCP Monitoring, Sonar, Prometheus

Why Parade?
  • Join a small but mighty team (<30 people across the U.S. & Brazil) where your work has immediate and visible impact.

  • Work on industry-defining infrastructure that powers the category Parade invented: Capacity Management.

  • Help scale systems trusted by 75,000+ weekly active users and 150,000+ carriers.

  • Partner with a team that customers love—our tools routinely deliver 20–50% profit lifts and transform operational efficiency.

  • Thrive in a culture that values autonomy, ownership, and engineering excellence.

Benefits
  • Fully remote, with annual company offsites at fun global destinations.

  • Generous PTO and sick leave.

  • High ownership, deep impact, and the ability to shape core infrastructure at a fast-growing company.
