About Pacific Fusion

Pacific Fusion was founded in 2023 with the mission to power the world with abundant, affordable, clean energy.

We are rapidly designing and building a pulsed magnetic fusion system to achieve net facility gain (more fusion energy output than stored energy input). In parallel, we are developing the key components required to build affordable fusion systems.

Our plans are ambitious. We have raised over $900M so far from incredible investors, resourcing us to deliver on these plans. We are bringing together the best scientists, engineers, and operators from the fusion community, hard tech industry, and other sectors. We are united by a shared sense of urgency to provide clean power for the world, particularly managing climate change while meeting growing global energy demand. You can read more about us in this letter from our founders.

  • Configure Creo templates, custom startup scripts, mapkeys, start parts, and settings across teams

  • Provide training and support to engineers, designers, and operations staff

  • Directly contribute to integration efforts between Windchill and other supply chain systems, helping define and support cross-system data flows and mappings

  • Coordinate with IT/DevOps for AWS-hosted infrastructure support, backups, and upgrades

  • Act as the technical liaison to PTC and other vendors for support and roadmap planning

Qualifications:
  • Experience administering PLM systems

  • Strong understanding of PLM concepts, CAD data structures, and product release processes

  • Experience customizing Windchill (workflows, lifecycles, access control, attributes)

  • Creo configuration management experience (config.pro, mapkeys, templates, etc.)

  • Experience with license server management

  • Clear communication skills and ability to support multidisciplinary teams

Preferred but not required:
  • Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and general cloud hosting principles

  • Experience with Windchill integrations to ERP/MRP or MES systems

  • Experience with Creo-Windchill publishing integrations (e.g. Creo View, ETRAGE, etc.)

  • Experience with SQL Server (optimization, troubleshooting, backups, etc.)

  • Understanding of procurement and supply chain systems and how PLM ties into sourcing and fulfillment

  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Java)

  • Exposure to REST APIs or Windchill’s integration capabilities

  • Background in engineering, manufacturing systems, or IT/DevOps supporting product companies

Benefits:
  • Industry-competitive salary

  • Equity plan

  • 6% employer 401k matching

  • Generous paid time off (including sick leave, vacation, paid family leave)

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
