About Gantri

Gantri is the first digital manufacturer for design. We enable any designer or brand to create high-quality, sustainable design products 10x faster with no minimums. We manufacture at our Digital Factory in California on-demand at industrial-scale efficiency and ship directly to the end customer. Gantri is the most awarded design manufacturer in America.

Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager, Physical Product who loves great products, champions the customer, and knows how to get good products made. You’ll help decide what Gantri should build next, define it clearly, and get it shipped, working with our design, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and marketing teams and our external partners.

In your first year, you’ll help launch two new lighting platforms, Wireless and Low Voltage, and bring new products to market with Gantri’s brand partners and independent designers. Over time, you’ll help shape Gantri’s physical product strategy as we expand beyond lighting into furniture, metal, and other categories.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Product. You’ll lead through influence across four areas: research, requirements, production, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Research and market analysis

  • Study the furniture, lighting, and home markets, and the culture around them, to find gaps in Gantri’s catalog and unmet customer needs.
  • Run user research and in-home testing with employees and customers, on both new concepts and existing products, to understand what frustrates and delights them.
  • Pitch new directions for Gantri to invest in, from a new component for our design system to a new category of lighting or home decor.
  • Engineering the right requirements

  • Write and own Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that serve as the single source of truth for industrial design, engineering, electrical and firmware, sourcing, manufacturing, QA, and marketing.
  • Own price modeling and BOM/COGS analysis so every program hits its target price and margin.
  • Define success metrics for every launch, with customers as the ultimate reviewer: sales, reviews, margin, returns, CSAT, and NPS.
  • Turn research and testing findings into clear requirement changes and prioritized, documented improvements for engineering.
  • Producing the product

  • Own program schedules across EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and gate reviews with internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead programs across all of Gantri’s launch types:
  • Creator releases
  • Gantri Made: product innovation with key brand partners
  • Custom Art collaborations
  • New and improved components
  • New lighting and home categories
  • Partner with brand and marketing on positioning, and coordinate launch readiness across product, operations, sales, and customer experience.
  • Triage and prioritization

  • Translate company goals, market signals, and user insight into Gantri’s physical product strategy and roadmap.
  • Groom the catalog: track how products perform against their success metrics, and decide what to improve, refresh, consolidate, or retire so the lineup stays focused and coherent.
  • Lead budget planning for physical product programs and track spend against plan.
  • Plan program capacity across design, engineering, and sourcing, and flag conflicts early.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience in physical consumer products, ideally lighting, furniture, or home goods, with a track record of shipping products from concept through mass production with contract manufacturers.
  • A strong pulse on design, home, and culture, and a clear sense of what people want and need in their homes.
  • Rigor across the full product loop: research that has led to new product directions, clear and testable PRDs, and post-launch metrics used to improve products and the catalog.
  • Deep fluency in price modeling and BOM/COGS analysis, plus working knowledge of EVT/DVT/PVT and product certification.
  • Comfort owning schedules, budgets, and capacity across several programs at once in a fast-moving startup.
  • The ability to align designers, engineers, vendors, and executives around clear decisions without formal authority.
  • A love of product thinking and a passion for design and sustainability: you care about why a product should exist, who it’s for, and what makes it great.

Why Gantri?

  • Shape what a design-driven company makes next, from new lighting to furniture and home.
  • Work with leading designers and brands on products that actually ship.
  • See your products made in our own Digital Factory in California.
  • Help reimagine how design meets manufacturing, with sustainable production built in.
  • Join a fast-growing team where your work has visible impact.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity options
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off and flexible vacation policy
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Professional development opportunities and learning stipend
  • Collaborative, creative, and sustainability-focused work environment
  • Access to Gantri products and innovation initiatives
