Drive product adoption and activation by identifying friction, creating targeted messaging and in-product nudges, measuring impact, and iterating with Product, CS, and Growth. We're hiring a Product Marketing Manager to make sure our customers get the fullest value from our amazing product and boost adoption of our key features. Every time we ship a new capability, you're the person who makes sure the restorers who trust us discover it, adopt it, and get real value from it.

As part of our Marketing team, you will work closely with our Product and CS teams: you take what the product team builds, understand from them where customers hit friction, and turn it into the messaging and adoption plans that help every restorer get more out of Albi.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Adoption. Alongside the product team, find where customers hit friction, build the messaging that moves them past it, and design the adoption plan and assets for each new capability.
  • The product story. Take what makes Albi great and how it stands out from the product team, and translate it for end customers — tuned to each of our segments.
  • Turning usage into value Read the signals in how customers use Albi and meet them with the right nudge, program, or conversation at the right moment — so more of them get more out of the platform.
  • Feedback Growth Loop Identify patterns in user behavior and marketing engagement metrics, and use those insights to feed marketing optimization and product iterations
  • Fueling new business with the GMM. Partner with our Growth Marketing Manager, turning your product expertise into the stories and proof that bring new restorers to Albi.
  • Tech stack Working with the product team and our Go To Market Engineer to optimize our tech stack to gain insights and adaptive communication to our user base.
  • Product Lifecycle Plus Working through the product lifecycle stage and iterating the messaging and adoption plan based on feedback and insights developed through-out the journey.
Key Qualifications
  • You've owned outcomes in adoption, activation, usage, and retention — and you can prove it with real numbers.
  • You’re a natural storyteller and creative at heart. You understand the power of a strong message and creative to drive engagement and visibility.
  • You're fluent in product and understand how a product goes from idea to beta to launch. You go deep on how something works and come back with the message — and the in-product moment — that makes it click.
  • You think in numbers. You measure what you do, and you move it.
  • You've used the product itself to drive growth — onboarding, in-app guidance, self-serve experiences that help people get to value on their own.
  • You use AI like it's second nature, and you have real opinions about your tools.
  • You're based in the Chicago metro and up for hybrid, in-office-first work.

Benefits

We're driven by purpose, fueled by high energy, and backed by venture funding. We're unapologetically ambitious — and we make sure everyone has the support to do the best work of their career. We believe the best work happens when good people are in the room together, so we're a hybrid team built around our downtown Chicago office.
$110,000–$140,000 OTE, depending on experience —a competitive base plus quarterly variable tied to your adoption and growth goals, with real upside when you beat them. We move fast and hold a high bar — this is a role for someone who wants to own an outcome end to end.

What we offer:

  • A team of smart, kind people building technology that solves real-world problems
  • An environment where your input carries weight and your growth comes first
  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible PTO
  • Work-from-anywhere days
  • Generous parental leave
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) + matching
  • Regular team events and offsites
  • An equipment budget — whatever you need to do your best work
  • Continuing education, mentorship, and career development

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
