PMO Service - Manager (Project Manager)

Great project managers don't coordinate work. They lead it.

At CFGI, we believe project management is much more than maintaining timelines and facilitating meetings. The best project managers create momentum, build confidence, solve problems before they become obstacles, and give leaders the visibility they need to make informed decisions.

If you take pride in delivering outcomes, thrive in fast-moving environments, and enjoy bringing structure to complexity, we'd love to meet you.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead client engagements, partnering with executive sponsors, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver on their most important initiatives.

What you might expect:

  • Lead business and technology projects from planning through successful implementation, ensuring initiatives remain focused on measurable business outcomes.
  • Build and actively manage project plans, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, creating structure, accountability, and momentum across complex initiatives.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to identify and remove roadblocks and accelerate execution.
  • Treat communication as a deliverable by developing executive-ready presentations, steering committee materials, weekly recaps, dashboards, and status reports that create clarity and support decision-making.
  • Provide meaningful visibility into project health by communicating what is happening, why it matters, what decisions are needed, and what comes next.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through ownership, professionalism, and consistent execution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CFGI's project delivery methodologies, templates, and best practices.

What you must have:

  • 6–8+ years of experience leading business or technology projects through the project lifecycle.
  • Experience personally leading projects from initiation through implementation and delivery, including ownership of project planning, execution, and outcomes.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience leading enterprise initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience building and actively managing project plans, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience partnering with executive sponsors, business leaders, and technology stakeholders to drive decisions, remove roadblocks, and maintain alignment.
  • Experience developing executive-ready presentations, steering committee materials, dashboards, status reports, and other client-facing project communications.
  • Experience leading business process improvement, technology implementation, finance transformation, or other strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Experience applying project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or similar approaches.

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, AI initiatives, M&A integrations, or similar enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • PMP or another relevant project management certification.

Who thrives here:

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills with the ability to create clear, polished, and compelling client-facing deliverables.
  • Able to bring structure, accountability, and momentum to complex and fast-moving environments.
  • Proactive in identifying risks, anticipating challenges, and solving problems before they become obstacles.
  • Comfortable leading diverse stakeholders toward a common objective.
  • Builds trust through clear communication, strong ownership, and consistent follow-through.
  • Passionate about project management as a profession and committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes.
