Lead engineering for the Data & Analytics Solutions portfolio, driving technical execution, product evolution, process governance, and business growth. Functionally lead Program Engineering Managers, oversee lifecycle activities, technical bid/design reviews, and collaborate with product, portfolio, and chief engineering leadership. Hybrid onsite/remote role supporting IC and DOW customers.
Job Description
BAE Systems Advanced Mission Solutions (AMS) Product Line Area is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and self-motivated Portfolio Engineering Lead (PEL) for the Data & Analytics Solutions portfolio of programs and products.
The Data & Analytics Solutions (DAS) group delivers cutting-edge big data content management, data-driven analytics, and multiple security domain software platforms that enable mission-critical decision-making for our Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of War (DOW) customers. The DAS PEL serves as the engineering leader for the portfolio of DAS programs and products, responsible for engineering program execution, new business growth, product leverage, product evolution, and continuous improvement.
The role provides engineering leadership across all lifecycle phases-conception, design, development, delivery, and support-ensuring that core engineering processes, design reviews, and technical bid reviews (TBRs) are properly tailored, deployed, and executed within the portfolio. The DAS PEL functionally leads teams of Program Engineering Managers (PEMs), reports to the AMS Product Line Engineering Lead (PLEL), and collaborates closely with the DAS Business Project and Portfolio Director and the DAS area Project Chief Engineer.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
