Power BI Developer (Contract)

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract 3-6 months, potential extension

Start: ASAP

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 7+ years of experience designing and delivering

enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions. This individual will partner closely with business

stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights through scalable dashboards and

reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain interactive PowerBI Dashboards and reports
  • Connect and integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel etc.)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business into technical solutions
  • Support Data validation, testing and quality assurance efforts
  • Document data models, transformations, and reporting logic

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in PowerBI Development
  • Strong expertise in DAX and data modeling
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users

Preferred:

  • Experience with Azure (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.)
  • Experience with ETL princesses and data transformations
  • Familiarity with security roles and row-level security in Power BI
  • Experience working in agile environments
