Department: Client Success
Location: Remote (up to 25% travel for on-site client meetings as needed)

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Sales IT Solutions Engineer to support our sales organization by delivering technical expertise and designing innovative IT solutions for prospective healthcare clients. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales executives, product teams, and customers to understand business and technical requirements, translate them into effective solutions, and serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture:
  • Analyze customer business and technical requirements to propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Develop and present high-level architectures and detailed technical designs aligned to client goals.
  • Ensure solutions align with customer objectives, budgets, and timelines.
Sales Support:
  • Partner with sales teams to support discovery, solution positioning, and deal strategy.
  • Deliver compelling solution presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor during the full pre-sales process.
Technical Expertise:
  • Maintain deep knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and related technologies.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and healthcare IT standards.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to share client feedback and solution insights.
Documentation & Proposals:
  • Prepare technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with internal capabilities and delivery models.
Client Engagement:
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with IT leaders, procurement teams, and business stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, or IT consulting.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and healthcare IT services.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, designing solutions, and delivering technical presentations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions.
